This opportunity is perfect for those who want to train with dancers & musicians on the island, and advance their skills quickly! (Programs are available for beginner to advanced/professional levels)
This unique adventure includes time in Santo Domingo, where the crossroads of past and present meet!
Admire the beautifully preserved 16th century colonial architecture while getting a taste of modernity with its engaging dance & music scene.
The voyage also includes a scenic roadtrip to Las Terrenas with spectacular views of mountains and the ocean, as well as a hidden waterfall. Once you arrive, you will be enchanted by the beautiful beaches, the welcoming community vibe, and the fact that many of the country's best dancers have relocated to this magical place--and are ready to help you take YOUR dancing to a whole new level!
Each day will include activities that fulfill MetaMovements’ mission of helping dancers achieve their goals through movement and cultural exchange.

Option 1: Dance Camp Extension (Fri 10/18)
Kick off your program by arriving a day early!
Choose your own adventure by adding extras like private lessons, activities in the Zona Colonial, and a pre-party with our amazing team of dancers!
Option 2: Nature & Beach Extension (Fri- Mon: 10/25-28)
Spend a few days soaking up the sun & exploring nature in Cabarete--along with some of your favorite dancers from Santo Domingo and Las Terrenas! You choose the right mix of adventure, ocean and dance!

Bachata Choreography Performance Challenge!
(Available for 7 Day Dance Camp Participants ONLY!)
Are you up to this fun challenge? Not only will you get a chance to learn and perform a unique choreography alongside Dominican dancers, but you’ll also elevate your skills in Dominican footwork, body movement, and partnering... an experience you'll never forget!

Nature & Beach Extension
(Oct 25-28 )
Extend your stay and enjoy a road trip out to Cabarete… known as one of the most beautiful beaches in The Dominican Republic. Dancers will join you so that you can keep your training up through private & group workshops… and social dancing at night! This program also features a visit to a hidden lagoon, as well as special add-on activities including water sports, and a visit to an NGO with a zipline and interactions with friendly monkeys!
Note: Return transfer is not included, so you can arrange return travel to the airport that's best for you
